Demonstration of the Interns

I arrived early in the morning in my cooperating school because it is the final demonstration of the fourth year students assigned there. Senior student Ray Anthony Andal, was assigned in Grade 5 where I was also assigned to observe. While waiting for the time of the demonstration, my cooperating teacher discussed her lesson about the different kinds of Rocks using Manila Paper as teaching aid where the selection about her topic was written. After discussing it, she gave questions to her students for them to answer. We waited there until 11:00 but the demonstration in the other grade level was not yet finished so I decided to go home to have my lunch. Then I went back there at 1:30 in the afternoon.
The demonstration of Mr. Andal had started. Prof. Amor F. Loniza was the evaluator. The Pricipal of the school, Ma'am Tan was also there and my cooperating teacher. Mr. Andal discussed about the Adverb of Frequency and Time. For the motivation for the students, he gave a story entitled "The Proud King". Instead of using a big book, he used a television and a laptop as teaching aids for the story to be more interesting to the students. In his discussion, he uses flashcards and cartolinas. After the discussion, my co-observers and I were asked by Prof. Loniza to evaluate the performance Mr. Andal. We rate him excellent. Prof. Loniza rated him 96% for his performance. Then we had our snacks. At the end of the day, I have learned many things on how I am going to apply it to my future career as a teacher.

Third Observation in Don gregorio C. Yumul Elementary School

I arrived at the school at 7:30 in the morning. My cooperating teacher requested my co-observers and I to help her to make the props which will be used by her students for their intermission number in the field demo that will going to be held on February 20. We were chatting while making those props and the students were doing their seatwork.
